This FREE hands-on workshop helps business and IT teams who own Tableau understand scenarios where Power BI can offer value for data and analytics. Due to the hands-on nature of this event space is limited, so register today!
During this 6-hour, online session, BlueGranite's team of Power BI professionals will help attendees understand how to accomplish common patterns and tasks in Power BI that they currently do in Tableau. Attendees will receive expert-led guidance through a complete set of hands-on labs and training modules.
Throughout the day, we'll share our experiences with these platforms to help attendees gain an understanding of how Power BI and Tableau’s philosophies compare. The hands-on exercises and labs will show why and when Tableau capabilities like blending, or level of detail expressions could translate into Power BI features. After the workshop, the attendees will be able to prepare data and visualize it with Microsoft Power BI.
This course aims to help Tableau analysts who don’t have prior Power BI experience understand and adopt Power BI methods by showing how they can achieve the same Tableau functionality in Power BI. It covers the main areas of friction where Tableau analysts struggle as they are trying to map their existing knowledge to Power BI.
